Never Pray for Patients

As a mission we been working on developing Christlike attributes. At first thought, I decided I needed to work on my faith. After doing the little activity in PMG, I discovered that apparently I need to work on my patience. Yeah, that's one you never want to hear. Well one morning in my incoherent prayer I accidently prayed for patience. That morning, while playing football on pday, yours truly did a very graceful catch and landed wrong on my ankle. After my squewl about hearing my foot crack, I then made a comment about how it's because i prayed for patience. Well good news, after about 4 days of swelling and crutches, and a 4 hour wait at the doctor that my foot was not broken, thank goodness but that it was sprained up pretty bad.  So crutches it is. Not to mention, every person that we taught this week, lived on the 2nd or 3rd floor. At least I am working on my upper body strength.

I spent the week in beautiful Naples with Sister Wilson and Sister Smith. We had so much fun. The ward here is full of these cute little perfect families that look like they should be the cover models for LDS living. Most of them are going to med school and have just come over from Utah. They had a big dinner where they made Cafe Rio. I've been craving that my entire mission. Prayers are heard hah.

We also have been working with the Russian family that has been in the states only a couple weeks. We've been teaching them english and the lessons. So fun. Thank goodness for returned missionary who spoke Russian who could translate for us. I am such a nerd but I got such a rush as we taught and then he would translate. Then she would look at us and smile and say how she could feel the spirit. Man, I LOVE teaching!!

Well unfortunately I am totally out of time and I realized that I forgot my camera at home so sorry no pictures this week but I'll send tons next week,

Love
Sister Thomas
